Pacific Coast EMT Training Center offers state-approved Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) programs designed to prepare students for success on the National Registry exam and a rewarding career in emergency medical services. Choose from in-person, accelerated, or online options to fit your schedule and learning style.

In-Person EMT Program

Our in-person EMT program provides comprehensive classroom instruction and hands-on skills training led by licensed paramedics and EMT instructors. Students participate in live labs, scenario-based simulations, and field/clinical experience hours to prepare for the National Registry exam and California EMT certification.

Online EMT Program

This fully online course allows you to complete your EMT academic requirements through our Canvas learning platform. You’ll study anatomy, medical terminology, and emergency care fundamentals at your own pace while engaging in virtual discussions and instructor-led sessions. In-person skills labs are required for students for certification.

Accelerated EMT Program

The Accelerated EMT program condenses the full curriculum into a fast-paced format designed for students who want to earn certification quickly. Expect intensive weekday or weekend sessions focused on rapid skill mastery, daily hands-on labs, and immersive scenario-based learning. Students finish in as little as 4 1/2 weeks while meeting all Title 22 and NREMT requirements.

EMT Refresher Course

Our EMT Refresher course provides certified EMTs with up-to-date training on the latest protocols, medical techniques, and recertification standards. Through focused lectures and skill-practice stations, you’ll review airway control, trauma management, and emergency response to maintain readiness and meet state and NREMT renewal requirements. 

Service Name

Basic Life Support (BLS)

This American Heart Association–approved course teaches adult, child, and infant CPR, AED operation, and choking relief techniques. It is required for all EMT students and healthcare professionals. Completion awards an AHA BLS Provider Certification valid for two years and satisfies the CPR requirement for EMT program enrollment.
